I love content-free job applications. The advantage is definitely ease of submitting with no work required. The problem is that getting a job requires work. I actually do use the Zip Recruiter one click apply. It’s another of these content-free effortless application processes. I am currently receiving unemployment benefits and have to fill out an online Form each week. One of the requirements, if the check box on the form, is to make two job search contacts per week. When I fill out the unemployment form I also go to zip recruiter and click on several one click apply job openings. zip recruiter keeps the history of all jobs I have applied for through the site and serves as a convenient and chronological listing of job applications by week should the unemployment folks want to check. I still have to run a more productive search for a job in order to find my next job but I find this to be a convenient way to keep the administrative paperwork in order.
